Rice soup and the Greek vase

Sgraffito:a form of decoration made by scratching through a surface to reveal a lower layer of a contrasting color, typically done in plaster or stucco on walls, or in slip on ceramics before firing.
Registers: they divide the story represented in the pottery.
The vase we worked on in art class was a Pelike vase we chose at random.
The vase was typically used for storing liquids such as wine, oil and or water.
On this project I worked on the figure of the vase and on some of the registers.
